The « Mobility Stars » challenge is an annual mobility promotion initiative, led by Euro App Mobility, in partnership with the Erasmus+ agency as part of the Erasmus Days, aiming to highlight and give visibility to the European and international experiences of apprentices, as well as the central role played by mobility coordinators and apprenticeship masters who support them.
The challenge consists of a communication competition inviting participants to share, through a video, their mobility journey or their commitment as a coordinator, apprenticeship master, or apprentice, in order to promote international mobility in apprenticeship training.
The award ceremony is organized annually in October, during Erasmus Days week, at one of the CFAs recognized the previous year.
best practices and successes in apprentice mobility, both from the perspective of the young people and their coordinators or apprenticeship masters.
the central role of mobility coordinators within CFAs and apprenticeship masters within companies to promote and facilitate international exchanges for apprentices.
the production of testimonials (videos) and the dissemination of mobility stories as a means to inspire other institutions, companies, and learners.
to make long-term apprentice mobility a normal component of the training pathway, and not a privilege.
The initiative was launched by Euro App Mobility in 2023 as part of its actions aimed at advocating for long-term international mobility (exceeding two months). It emerged from discussions and proposals formulated by the partners of the Mona project and originally only concerned the mobility coordinators of this consortium before being opened to professional candidates as part of the Moblt pathway. It has been supported since its launch by the Erasmus+ France Education Agency.
After a first edition in 2023, the event has established itself as an annual gathering, with a 2nd edition in 2024 (October 17, 2024, in Montivilliers) and a 3rd edition in 2025 (October 15, 2025, in Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset), always as part of the Erasmus Days.
The competition has evolved over the editions: while the 2024 edition offered three categories (Coordinator & Apprentice, Coordinator & Apprenticeship Master, Favorite Anecdote), in 2025, an “incoming mobilities” category, for example, made its appearance, thus also including international apprentices in the competition.
Candidates produce a video (testimonial, story, experience) according to the chosen theme and category, based on the edition's rules.
A jury (composed of professionals, mobility and apprenticeship stakeholders) determines the winners in each category.
During the award ceremony, the list of winners is unveiled in the presence of institutional stakeholders, employers, CFAs, apprentices, and coordinators.
Candidates' videos are showcased on social networks and the association's communication channels.
Winners receive a prize. In 2023, 2024, and 2025, this consisted of a one-year Interrail pass for the apprentice and a gift card for the mobility coordinator and the apprenticeship master.
