Moving Skills, the platform for connecting various apprentice mobility stakeholders
The Moving Skills platform was designed to meet a crucial need of mobility coordinators: to facilitate exchanges and networking among European apprentice mobility stakeholders. This tool aims to bring together all training centers open to establishing partnerships for the exchange of apprentices in mobility.
Simplifying the management of mobility opportunities in a simple and accessible environment, it is particularly aimed at mobility coordinators of European CFAs, who are at the heart of the system.
Developed by Euro App Mobility, Moving Skills was created with the aim of improving the management of mobility projects for apprentices.
Initially, the platform aimed to bring together mobility coordinators, CFAs, European companies, and apprentices. However, following feedback and discussions with the relevant stakeholders, the platform is being reoriented and revamped to focus on the needs of mobility coordinators, particularly due to difficulties encountered in involving companies with a new tool.
Moving Skills is therefore currently undergoing a complete overhaul to become the reference tool for European apprentice mobility for mobility coordinators. For now, it focuses on connecting mobility coordinators and CFAs via a directory. Although the company and apprentice aspects are present, they are currently on hold. Future functionalities will allow for their gradual reintegration.
Ultimately, Moving Skills will move towards a CFA-to-CFA system, in which CFAs will be able to post and exchange mobility offers and requests directly with each other.
